Here’s a great solution, that this gal did in her kitchen. Just use chalkboard paint to get the idea about how the soapstone will look. Of course its not going to be silky soft, like soapstone feels. But it definitely will give you the idea of the soft, matte/flat look that soapstone exudes. This too is good for the budget conscious crowd. Have at it! Its a great summer project!
